Lake Bled is the symbol of Slovenia's beauty. Especially during summer Lake Bled is a popular hot spot where all the locals meet and greet. The tiny island in the middle of the lake is one of the most attractive and well-visited tourist points in Bled.
Yes, you could take a traditional boat ride to the island, but if you are looking for something new, something hip and exciting, take a SUP and paddle away!
Highlights
Paddleboarding to the middle of the lake, breathe in the majestic views of Bled Castle and continue on to the famous little island which is a must-see! There are 99 steps to the top of the island, where the church sits atop and this has become a common place for people to get married. You cannot come to Lake Bled without eating it’s traditional cream cake, which is absolutely delicious! It’s light, fluffy, creamy and tastes like heaven.
