What I really like is the smooth rolling transition from primary to secondary resistance. From horizontal to encountering the edge resistance. It is so smooth and predictable that I enjoy rocking from side to side, something I usually try and avoid.
It's also relatively quiet with the water splitting at the bow like you experience on a boat. The degree of splitting is easily adjustable by moving forward or aft within a 6-inch range. This feature is welcomed when paddling into small waves, quiet and less bow impact from the waves.
This SUP is more stable than others I have used. I value the stability because where I paddle the water is not warm. I am committed to use the SUP often for exercise and to improve my balance, not for touring. My balance is improving, or I'm just becoming more accustomed to standing on a SUP. It's excellent for these purposes.
