Between Sizes?

The adaptable cuff of the EVO Pro makes sleeve length adjustable. Sizing down will give you a more fitted robe, but the shorter length will provide less coverage, particularly when changing. If wanting to change, we recommend the robe should be below the knee to protect modesty. Size down for a more fitted robe and less emphasis on changing. Size up for a looser fit and longer length for better coverage.

Layered To Perfection

Our improved 15k/8k waterproof breathable outer fabric keeps the elements out and you snug and warm.. The outer recycled polyester layer uses PFC free DWR technology to keep water out. The waterproof membrane opens when warm to allow water vapour to escape, keeping you dry. The sherpa fleece with it's deep pile traps air, which improves insulation and feels super soft next to your skin.

EVO Pro: Outer Shell

Rated 15k waterproof and 8k breathable, the 2-layer EVO Pro outer shell features a waterproof membrane and PFC-free DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating, ensuring optimum water run-off.

Constructed in fully recycled polyester, this environmentally-conscious material is durable, highly packable and quick-drying – plus it looks and feels great, with a premium matte finish and high warmth-to-weight ratio.

EVO Pro: Lining

The EVO Pro's inner lining is constructed in super-cosy, moisture-wicking, luxurious 300gsm Sherpa fleece. This deep-pile lining is softer and warmer than typical fleeces, providing exceptional comfort and insulation.

The plush, fur-style texture feels incredibly comfortable next to the skin and wicks moisture away to help you dry off and stay warm after a session.

Pattern cutting was refined in our sample studio and measurements perfected to create a more fitted, technical appearance. Definitely a big old coat!!

I looked at RED and the major other contender. I chose the RED changing robe because of the company expertise and B Corps status. I think the robe is a lot better than the other companies robe. (My daughter has Drobe). The quality is very good and the machining very good. It has YKK zips, they aren't going to fail. I don't think the sleeves are loose enough and it can be a bit tight getting it on when wet as it clings to the wetness. Although it fits me generally I personally would advise to size up if you are bordering. It is very warm, windproof and definitely waterproof. I am very pleased with it.

Great robe, very well designed

This is my third robe from Red, first two were hijacked by family members!

Originally bought this to wear before and after surfing when the temps turn cold, but found myself reaching for it more and more when the weather turns bad. So much so that during the winter I wear it more than any other of my winter coats.

For surfing, it keeps me warm and dry both before and after surfing. There is plenty of coverage when I change into or out of a wetsuit. The fleece is warm and soft and works both wet and dry.

Whether heading to the ocean or just going about town, when I put it on, it keeps me completely sheltered from the elements like wind, rain and snow. The outer shell is definitely waterproof, you just stay dry.

Before buying I did alot of research and in comparison the price point is on the high end of other brands changing robes, but truly happy I went with this one. It's high quality.

Bonus: it's also great looking and very stylish.

Bottom line: Buy it!

Design and quality:

It's clear just taking the robe out of the shipping box that there has been alot of thought put into the design, with each element serving a purpose. It's also easy to tell that the materials are high quality too.

The difference between the older version and this one are subtle but effective (roll down sleeves instead of velcro closures at the wrist, refined hood, perforations on the interior at the bottom edges of the robe, less prominent internal zipper for drying etc) all add up to…

My husband loves his new robe!

Whilst my hubby will use his robe after paddle boarding and kayaking, it was purchased primarily to replace the parka like coat that he wears to the football. The zip failed on his relatively new parka so I treated him to a Red robe. I have been wild swimming for 4 years and purchased my Red robe shortly after I started. I must say, it is one of the best pieces of kit I have ever purchased and would not hesitate to buy another, or recommend them.
