Women's EVO Pro Slimline Waterproof Parka Jacket - Rich Burgundy

My parka arrived just in time for the cold, wet spring weather to hit and I couldn't love it more. As soon as I unpacked it I went straight out in a cold, steady rain to walk my dogs and was totally dry and cozy. The hood on this parka is big and deep, without being a so large you have to fuss with it all the time. With the neck zipped all the way up, no cold or rain gets in. I agree with some other reviewers and wish the side pockets were a little bigger - but the quality of this parka is so beautiful and that doesn't bother me enough to worry about. The sleeves are long, but roll up really nicely and the reflective touches at the wrist are a nice touch. As well, the sleeves are narrow enough at the wrist that if I lift a boat or board up over my head the water won't all run down into my armpits.

I'm 5'6" about 150 lbs. and I trusted the sizer on the website and ordered a small. It fits nicely, but still has room for a sweater underneath if I wanted one - but I can't see needing one - this parka is seriously cozy.

Lastly, the colour is called Rich Burgundy - but it's actually an absolutely gorgeous jewel purple. SO nice!

Yes, this parka is a bit of an investment, but it's well worth every penny!

This coat is the warmest coziest coat I have ever had. I love it!! I use it daily to take the dogs out for a hike. I’m 5’8 and it hits me just below the knee and keeps my legs dry when it’s pouring rain out. I bought a small but could have probably got a xs. I kept the small so I can add layers underneath. You can adjust the length of the sleeves so if the coat is a little big the arm length is still good. Only thing I could say to improve the coat is the side pockets could be deeper and lined with a cozier fabric.

I absolutely LOVE my EVO Slimline Waterproof Parka Jacket! It’s exactly how I hoped it would be - a great fit without looking oversized, super warm and 100% waterproof. I no longer need to wear waterproof trousers because with wellies, I am fully protected. I wear it to walk our dog in the freezing early mornings, while watching my son play football in the cold, wind and rain, on wet school drop-offs and pick-ups, on wintry beach visits, and more. The rich burgundy colour is just gorgeous. The deep side 2-in-1 pockets are so practical, as is the inside zipped pocket. I was worried about the length on me, only being 5ft 1, and whether I’d still be able to wear a thick jumper underneath. A got a small and the length is perfect. It’s so warm, you don’t really need a thick jumper underneath! But I can if I want to. I look forward to using it as a changing robe on the beach too.
